Sol Schools Calgary - 2017/18 Information
1st Street SE, Unit 116 - Calgary
At Sol Schools Calgary, we put students first and our school has been designed to reflect this philosophy
Established since September 1996 Sol Schools Calgary is situated on the first floor of a two-story building in the heart of the city's shopping and entertainment district.
The school has the capacity for up to 84 students and students from over 60 different countries.
Many of our after-school activities are planned around the weekly themes, so learning extends outside of the classroom.
Grammar points are clearly outlined each week with some weeks being assigned to reviewing language that students struggled with. The reading, writing, listening and speaking language skills are separated into 50-minute blocks. Within each block, teachers address the sub-skills that a particular group of students need to work on.
There are four main courses including Grammar, Idioms, Listening, Speaking, Reading, Vocabulary and Writing, Presentation. Additional electives are also available.
