UIC Brighton is a well-established school with a small and friendly community committed to encouraging students to achieve the best results.

Established in 1999 and located in the centre of Brighton, UIC Brighton is part of the Oxford International Educational Group of schools. The school is housed in a beautiful five storey Regency building with a social room, wi-fi, a self-study centre and a student kitchen.

The school has the capacity for 110 students with students mostly from Korea, Turkey, Italy, Colombia, Switzerland, Thailand, Czech Republic, Taiwan, and Spain. Maximum class size is 15, there are 9 classrooms with interactive whiteboards and computers.

Due to a high number of students during the Summer, some lessons may be taught in external classrooms close to the school.

Courses

Our team of qualified and enthusiastic teachers primarily take a communicative in class. At our last ISI inspection the quality of curriculum, teaching and learner’s achievement was judged to be excellent.

Our social programme supports your learning with activities including ghost walk of The Lanes, free cinema, dog racing, pub nights,
fish and chip dinners, international food nights; excursions to Arundel Castle and London Museums, Brighton Pavilion, Booth Museum and the Toy Museum.

Type of courses

General English course increases your vocabulary, enhances your grammar, improves your written work and strengthens your reading skills. Choose from a 20 or 30 lesson course or our intensive 40 lesson course.

Our IELTS course prepares students with the skills and strategies needed to succeed in the IELTS examination. You will do practice tests in each skill under exam conditions and specialist teachers will give you feedback on your performance to help you improve. Entry onto these courses is dependent on passing the school pre-test to a sufficient level.
