The centre of Auckland is interesting, because it has a mix of business and residential accommodation. It is known as the ‘City of Sails’ because it has two harbours. The city has a rich mix of cultures, so students who choose to study in Auckland quickly feel right at home.

Because the school is in a central location, students are never far away from a place of interest. Many of these places are within walking distance of the school and residences, although the city has an excellent public transport system.

There are many cafés and restaurants where students can get to know each other socially. One of the teachers will often accompany students, meaning they can get help with their English language skills in a relaxed setting. Having a teacher with them makes it easy for students to get around, as the teacher often acts as a tour guide.
