Established in 2001, International House Sydney is the industry leader in both teaching English to international students and training teachers to lead those classrooms.
Located in the heart of Sydney within walking distance of the Opera House and the harbor and established since 2001.
IH Sydney regularly has 200-300 students from over 45 countries studying in Sydney.
The majority of students at IH Sydney come from Europe, Asia and Latin America. International House Sydney organises free activities for students every week, and day trips to explore the areas surrounding Sydney every weekend.
From beach barbecues, trips to Taronga Zoo and sports activities to dolphin watching cruises at Jervis Bay or a day tour of the scenic Blue Mountains, you will find our program a great way to see Sydney, practice your English and make lifelong friends.
Lessons are ‘student- centred’ which allows them to participate fully and discover English with their teacher facilitating this process. In order to be successful, students must be motivated through encouragement, and by engaging our students we achieve very positive learning outcomes.
