Established in 1991, the school is based in a Victorian building in the centre of Manchester, a few minutes from cafes and restaurants and 10 minutes from Arndale shopping centre.

The school has a diverse mix of over 60 different nationalities. Its social programme has regular cultural and sport-related activities, as well as restaurant, pub and film nights. They also organise full day weekend excursions to places such as York, Liverpool, Chester, Birmingham, Wales and Alton Towers.
The academic team all hold teaching qualifications. They have a student-centred methodology with weekly progress testing, tailor-made learning plans, individual tutorials and online support to ensure you excel.
As much flexibility as possible is offered, so students can design the course combination that best suits them and decide how intense and how long they want their course to be.
There are extra free teacher-led activities, such as clubs, conversation groups, seminars, and social events to improve your communication skills in a relaxed and informal setting.

You can take 15, 20 or 25 hours of lessons a week. You will develop speaking skills for real-life situations and put these into practice using natural expressions and functional language to talk about yourself, hold effective discussions, make requests, exchange information, and express your opinions. You learn how to study effectively, discover new sounds and words on your own and deal with unknown language.
Maximum class size is 12. Courses run from 1-52 weeks, minimum age is 16.

The course combines 15 hours of General English classes with 5 or 10 hours of focused IELTS preparation. It develops an in-depth knowledge of the format of the IELTS test and its content. It covers all four exam areas. You will practise with official exercises and materials and develop effective strategies to approach all types of exam tasks.
The course will enable you to understand a variety of complex texts and conversations, gaining communication skills that you will be able to use at university or professional levels. It also teaches you to produce clear, well-constructed and detailed text on a wide range of subjects.
The course runs from 1-52 weeks. Minimum age is 16. Maximum class size is 12.
